As a program participant, you’ll complete multiple rotations in development, customer field engineering, and product applications engineering over a 12-18 month period. Technical Sales Program

TI customers are at the core of everything we do. Our Technical Sales program prepares participants for a challenging, customer-oriented engineering career in technical sales, where you can use your technical background while contributing from a business perspective. 

The Technical Sales program has a long and rich history at TI. It’s been in place for more than 30 years and was the starting point for many of TI’s top leaders. The program will expose you to TI’s entire product portfolio and business processes, and will enable you to develop a strong internal network to utilize after you are deployed into one of our field sales offices. 

Program details:

  • One year program
  • A minimum of three challenging rotations through a Field Sales Office and Product Marketing/Business Development in our Analog and Embedded Processing businesses
  • Hands-on rotation experiences with industry experts

Product/Test Engineer Program

As a program participant, you’ll establish customer relationships and develop a wide set of skills through cross-functional group interaction.

The two-year program offers an accelerated development track focused on the product development cycle.  On-the-job training offers exposure to cross-functional teams including design, quality and manufacturing and provides an opportunity for international travel.

We’re looking for engineers that are able to analyze and interpret data, with responsibility for implementing solutions to improve product quality.  We need recent college graduates that are able to interpret customer input and apply the input to TI’s products and processes and to adapt to constantly evolving tools and technology.

Technology & Manufacturing Group Leadership Development Rotation Program (LDRP)

Here, new college graduates gain real-life technical and leadership development experience working in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and taking on an assignment in a test facility in Asia.

Program participants will also have the opportunity to work with customers to design products in our Analog Technology Development group, Test Technology and Product Engineering group, or Quality organization

Finance, Accounting, Operations Rotational Program (ACCESS)

In this program, you’ll be immersed in job assignments from the start—because nothing beats real-world experience. Our Finance, Accounting, Operations Rotational Program offers a unique combination of real-world experience, organized learning and networking with key finance and business leaders across TI.

You’ll choose between being a specialist or a generalist. The specialist track offers the chance to build depth in your area of interest (such as Finance, Accounting or Operations), while the generalist track provides the opportunity to explore various areas across Finance, Accounting and Operations in order to understand what works best for you.

Program details:

  • Three, one-year rotations
  • A variety of rotations are available that offer experience in financial reporting, business planning, manufacturing, supply chain management, and more
  • Formal training opportunities
  • Each participant will have an advisor, who provides coaching and guidance throughout the program

Manufacturing Apprentice Program (MAP)

Communications Associates Program

If you are a new, or soon to be graduate, and want a career in communications or digital marketing, TI offers challenging assignments in our business-focused communications, relationship marketing, social media, employee communications and Internet marketing teams.  In this program you will be given impactful programs to own, while developing and executing programs targeting customers around the world in support of TI's goal to grow market share.  You will work closely with TI marketing and management and articulate and manage communication messages relative to TI’s overall brand strategy

This is a unique program that gives you the opportunity to work in and support multiple businesses and multiple communications functions across TI.  

Program details       

  • Two to four year program.   The CA program consists of two, two year assignments.
  • Challenging assignments structured around distinctly different functions and businesses
  • Rotations are available across market communications, media relations, relationship marketing, social media, channel communications, Internet marketing, search, video, on-line communities and digital/mobile communications
  • Regular training throughout the program

Locations:

Opportunities available in North America; Freising, Germany; Shanghai, China; and Bangalore, India.   US assignments are typically based in Dallas, Texas. 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/MA/MS in Communications, Marketing, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism or Radio-TV-Film or MBA with a GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Must have relevant communications experience through one or more internships

Outcome:

At the end of this program, you’ll have a deep understanding of the communications function at TI, will join one of TI’s communications teams and will manage specific communications programs.  This program will position you for a successful career in TI’s Communications Department.
